Lil Wayne Hospitalized: In Coma In ICU After More Seizures

According to recent reports, rapper Lil Wayne is reportedly in the ICU ward in critical condition on March 15th after suffering more seizures, following his March 12th seizure-related  hospitalization. 

TMZ reports that just hours after Lil Wayne was released from the hospital on Mar. 13, one of his bodyguards found him in his room, unconscious on the floor. He was then rushed to the hospital again, but unlike the other time, he did not stabilize.

He was taken to the ICU, where he was reportedly placed in restraints because he was uncontrollably shaking. According to TMZ, he is currently “unstable” and has been placed in a medically-induced coma, breathing through tubes. 

Sources further allege that Lil Wayne may have gone on a Sizzurp binge after being released from the hospital on Mar. 13, as doctors have reportedly found high amounts of codeine in his system. It’s reported that his stomach was pumped three times to remove the drugs from his system.

As previously reported, Wayne had been rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Mar. 12 after suffering what appeared to be multiple seizures. He was released just a few hours later, early in the morning of Mar. 13. Wayne had also previously been hospitalized on Oct. 25, 2012, after experiencing “seizure-like symptoms”

Our thoughts are with Lil Wayne and his family and friends during this time.

Q+A with DJ Flipside (Jump Smokers)

Boasting an ongoing library of original productions and remixes for artists like Far East Movement, Katy Perry and Pitbull, Jump Smokers can please a crowd, no doubt. Whether performing as a whole or playing DJ sets, the Chicago-based crew builds off the radio and EDM worlds to make any audience jump.
During a chat with DJ Flipside about how he works a room and what it’s like to do a remix, he also noted the benefits of working in both the nightlife and radio worlds. Outside the club, Flipside reaches 3 million people through Chicago radio, playing “Flipside At Five” on week days and street mixes on weekends.

  

 -What’s the biggest difference between you playing a DJ set versus Jump Smokers performing as a whole?
-The main thing is the vocalist isn’t with me, so he doesn’t rap and do the whole performance part. I’ve been DJ’ing since 1993 so it’s another way for us to showcase our sound and for me to DJ,

“When I play places where the people have fun and wanna get down, I love it. It’s my favorite way to get down that way.”

-Which non-Jump Smokers tracks get the best reactions when played?
-It really depends on the crowd. If I play “Call Me Maybe,” they go crazy. But there are certain times that will not work, so I’ll play something like a Calvin Harris or Afrojack track. I’m a big fan of music - there are hip hop records that work, there are trap records that work - it really depends on the crowd. There’s a trap remix of “Mercy,” that I love and there’s a trap remix of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River” that’s awesome. I just love music and love playing for a crowd that loves music. I do a bootleg version of “Call me Maybe” on top of Calvin Harris’ “Feel So Close” and it works amazing. I come from a radio world too; I’m on radio in Chicago, so I understand the EDM world and the radio world. That’s how Jump Smokers works - we understand the radio and the dance worlds.

-How did you get into DJ’ing?

-I’ve been DJ’ing since I was 13 years old, and I used to break. When we’d do shows, I had to edit the tape. I started mixing with cassette tapes, then turntables. I started doing mixes, and in high school, I was doing the dances and any party I could do. It was all a love of music. Being in Chicago, you have legends like Bad Boy Bill on the radio and you get influenced by that. I’m so lucky to be from the city where house music was born. 

-If you were to go home right now and listen to music, what would you be -listening to?

-Sometimes I listen to R&B/Soul, but sometimes I listen to underground Chicago funky disco house. It all depends on my mood. I’ll listen to other peoples’ podcasts like Nicky Romero and Hardwell; I love to see what other people are doing.

-If you could play a DJ set with any artist, who would it be?

-I’d love to do big-time festivals with someone like Avicii, Hardwell or Nicky Romero. I’d love to play for the crowd at a big massive venue where you can play an 8-minute house record and the crowd loves every second of it.

“You have a job to do, so you have to satisfy the people who hire you, knowing what you want to do. The thing that helps is that we’re DJs; we are in the clubs, we see what works and what doesn’t, so we think about the club and the radio when producing our sets. Part of the reason people hire us for a remix is so they can get the extra spin on radio and also get club plays.”

-You guys have been in the scene and doing this for a while. With the way music’s been shifting genres, do you believe the EDM scene is saturated right now?

-I’d say a lot of people are starting to get into dance music, but the people who love dance music know where to go. They know who to listen to, what’s actually good music and what’s coming out… and not just because EDM is hot.

-With such constant changes in the scene, do you think it’s harder for you guys as producers and DJs to come up with new tracks to fit certain styles?

-It depends if you’re referring to original material or remixes. When you get remixes, you’re given a vocal and keys to work with, so you have to make that work. With original material, you can do whatever you want; we can go as crazy as we want because it’s what is representing us.

-What would you say is the most challenging part of being a DJ/producer?

-Flight layovers. My flight was delayed four hours today…. but if you’re a DJ, you do it because you love it. When you’re producing, you do it because you love music. You do it because you want to go out and do shows, you want to travel, you want people to hear your music. As a group, we feel so lucky to be embraced by DJs who support us.

DJ DRAMA!

This week DJCJ and DJ Mike Emilio battled for rights on the Flo Rida Whistle Remix. In the result both artists have had the remix taken down on there social sites like Youtube and Soundcloud. After this action was taken by the Copyright teams of these sites DJCJ received nasty messages on his Youtube account from Mike "You should be ashamed of yourself, And the way you act is really immature" In reply to that DJCJ said "Not even close to ashamed, I don't care who contacts me because I am not interested in being harassed any further." 


Sounds like some major drama going on, apparently Emilio has informed all promotion companies and has screwed DJCJ over....he has even tried blaming us on Twitter "Thanks for stealing my remix and making it yours. I've already informed my management and the labels."

Guess Mike Emilio of Sweden really does have some problems, but what can you do...sit back and pretend its all a lie and just go with it.

Paris Hilton Claims Shes a DJ....

She's been a sex tape star, a singer, a designer, a TV star and now Paris Hilton claims to be a DJ.

Paris hit the turntables during a concert in Brazil ... and debuted a new song “All Night” she's been working on with Afrojack one of the best DJs on the planet.

But before she played the song, she sucked right up to the crowd telling them "I've partied all around the world to the best parties  but I've never seen anyone party like you guys do in Brazil."

Hilton also said she and AfroJack are releasing an album soon. Not everyone's a fan of DJ Paris ... after Deadmau5 found out, he posted a tweet saying, "It's over." He later added, "To be fair  the Mayans saw this shit coming."

Well, what has the world come to...There is no way anyone would want to pay a dumb blonde claim to DJ on stage and epically fail.

Jenny McCarthy poses on the Cover of Playboy's Summer Issue

As promised, Jenny McCarthy graces the cover of the July/August issue actress, comedian and mom -- first named Playmate of the year back in 1993 -- goes totally nude for the  daring cover. Wearing just lacy finge-less gloves and thigh-high black boots, McCarthy covers up her unmentionables with a crossed leg and strategically placed arm. In the rather retro shot, an intense-looking McCarthy wears her blonde hair in glamorous waves and sports deep-red lipstick and nail polish.

As shot by photographer Steve Shaw, McCarthy appears in an eight-page nude pictorial inside the magazine's pages; the issue hits newsstands this Friday.

"I would absolutely pose for Playboy [again]," McCarthy said back in 2009. "I would be so flattered if they asked me. It's probably not going to happen but I think I want to do it again."

Her son Evan, 9, recently bonded with other Playboy Playmates during an Eastertime visit (and egg hunt) at the Playboy mansion. McCarthy confessed she lost her little boy for "probably 45 minutes" and found him hanging out in the infamous Grotto.

Demi Moore Possible Substance Abuse

Its been a ruff couple of months for Demi Moore. With the cheating scandal featuring her soon to be ex hubby Ashton Kutcher. And to add insult to injury the hot tub-hopping pair (Kutcher and the other woman) did the deed on the eve of Kutcher and Moore's sixth wedding anniversary. Now, if that's not enough to drive one to allegedly drink (or to other alleged substances), I don't know what is. Now news is circulating that Moore was rushed to the hospital last Monday night due to problems relating to substance abuse.

Reports of Moore's alleged drinking problem are not new, and were in the news before her split with Kutcher last November. Some sources actually blamed Demi's drinking for the divorce — though personally I suspect that Kutcher's infamous wander-dong ranks a little higher on their list of marital troubles. Perhaps his philandering drove her to drink, though it could easily be the other way around. This is one messy chicken/egg dilemma.

It looks as though Demi may be headed for rehab in order to "seek further professional assistance," though there's no confirmation on what exactly the actress needs assistance with. TMZ spoke with Moore's reps who had this to say on the subject: "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

"Exhaustion" has come to be a preferred Hollywood code word for drug and/or alcohol abuse, and it's a euphemism that nobody really buys anymore. At this point it'd be refreshing were a celeb to have his or her rep release an honest statement. It'd certainly say more about the pressures and pitfalls that come with fame — and more about alcoholism and drug abuse as a very difficult disease. Expect that kind of candor when pigs fly, I guess. That is, pigs other than Ashton Kutcher.

Or gone dark. Or showing what it’s like if the free flow of cyber-information is ever interrupted. Which is apparently what might happen if a few senators in the U.S. Congress have their way. Sites like Wikipedia, Craigslist, The Huffington Post, Reddit, Tumblr and WordPress have united and “gone dark“, replacing their homepages with a black background and posting a message about SOPA and PIPA (more on those below). Other pages, like Google and Twitter, have altered their logos to be “blacked-out” or censored to join the movement.

And it’s censorship and ownership that they’re uniting to protect. Proposed laws in the United States, known as the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect Intellectual Property Act (PIPA) are coming down on sites that infringe on existing copyrights. For the most part, the blackout is just for today, but the fight will definitely be raging on afterwards.

Breaking copyright laws are bad, and none of these sites are saying otherwise. However, it’s policing these copyright infringements that are causing the uproar. Basically, if you even link to a site with copyrighted material (ex. link to a YouTube clip) your entire site could be shut down, blacklisted from search engines, and have it’s funding cut.

So, if the legislation of SOPA and PIPA go through, sites that allow the free flow of information would pretty much be a thing of the past. And that’s what they’re fighting. Photo sites, video sites, resource sites – they all benefit from being an unbiased flow of info.

Kim Kardashian's Life is a load of bull!

Kims heart-to-heart divorce talk with her mom staged? And so was her proposal from Kris Humphries?? How much more fake can someone get?!

Two Kardashian storys emerged recently! First being that an emotional heart-to-heart between Kim and Kris Jenner was all staged- all for an episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York. The second one? Kris Humphries told his family and friends that Kim planned his wedding proposal to her. Which was filmed for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Thats a little pathetic Kim.

In last Sunday's episode of the E! show, Kim and Kris Jenner were sitting in a limo, having an "emotional" talk about Kims short marriage to Kris Humphries. This supposedly happened in Dubai in October- to bad it was actually shot in December and inserted into the episode.

According to Reality Tea, On Dec.6, Kim and Kris were spotted leaving a TV studio; Kim was wearing the exact outfit, had the exact same hairstyle, and even the same earrings and in the scene that supposedly took place in Dubai in October. And Jenner was seen being followed out of the studio by an assistant carrying her purple dress from the scene.

Before last weeks episode aired, Humphries tweeted, "I cant wait for the truth to come out! People will be surprised or maybe they won't. #FCC" I dont know about ya'll but im not even a little surprised!

Humphries also saying the oh-so-romantic in which Kris spelt it out in rose petals, was planned by Kim!

A source says "Kim told Kris how, where and when to propose,it was absolutely no surprise to her whatsoever. First of all, Kris proposed in the middle of the day, and he had to do that because it would create better lighting to capture the moment. Kim looked so surprised but she knew it was happening. She was in full hair and makeup, as she always is on the show. Kris wanted it to be very intimate and romantic, but all of his ideas were shot down by production officials and Kim.”

We all thought they couldn't get any faker, but they have proved us wrong! Hollywoods fakest family gets even faker! Like realy! How pathetic!

Rihanna and Chris Brown still seeing each other??!!

Ever since Rih and Chris Brown were forced apart by a court order (Due to the pesky beatdown in February 2009) they have apparently been keeping in touch. Now comes a report from US Weekly that Rihanna and Chris have been secretly hooking up for the past year!

A Brown confidante divulges they "meet up casually. She comes to see him anytime she's in L.A." While someone close to Rihanna claims, "Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that."

A music industry source says, "They can't get enough of each other. I don't see it ending well." Well no duh!

Chris is currently dating Karrueche Tran, An aspiring model. The singer told US Weekly "He and Rihanna are just friends. He's not cheating." Rihanna's rep had no comment.

Angelina freaks over Brad's baby drama

So just who is this mysterious "other" women? (you'll note that Star keeps that part hush-hush on the cover). Why its Brad's ex, Jennifer Aniston.

According to Star, this particular scandal started right after rumours surfaced that a famous Hollywood agent advised Jen to get some of Brad's sperm after he dumped her. For reason that aren't totally clear, Star's source claims that this story cause Angenlina to confront her better half about how close he and Jen came to conception during their marriage, and it all goes downhill form there.

First Brad played dumb, but eventually he admitted that he and Jen were once with child for about five seconds back in 2004. For whatever reason, this pregnancy didn’t go the distance, but apparently the simple fact that one of Brad's swimmers once resided in one of Jen’s eggs was enough to send Angelina off the handle.

“She had assumed all along that she was the only woman Brad had ever impregnated,” claims Star’s deep throat. “Now Angie is questioning everything, including whether she can ever trust Brad again.” Apparently Jolie feels “betrayed” by her partner’s dishonesty, the irony of which probably isn't lost on Jen.

Seriously, though, do we really think that Ange would kick up a fuss over a story that basically amounts to the fact that Brad was once married to another woman who he had sex with? Seems a little much even for her. And secondly, are we really buying that this is the first time the conversation has ever come up?

Russell Brand filed for divorce from Katy Perry after only 14 months of marriage. Russell Brand has said he still 'adores' Katy despite filing for divorce.
In a sentimental statement he informed that the couple would be ending their marriage, but said he hoped that they would remain friends. Brand said in his statement 'Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends.'
His legal team filed court documents at the Superior Court in Los Angeles citing 'irreconcilable differences.'
The divorce documents, which refer to Perry by her given name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, show there are 'community property assest' suggesting there may not be a pre-nuptial agreement in place.
Perry is yet to comment on the split and there is some speculation she was blind-sided by Brand's official move to end their marriage. Is has been said that Brand didn't approve of Perry's partying lifestyle and new claims suggest that he told her to 'tone it down'
The pair sparked rumours of trouble after celebrating Christmas 7,000 miles apart -he spent the festive day in Cornwall while she was in Hawaii with friends.

Justin Beiber's Fathering Drama... it's not the end! (Update)

Justin Bieber is steeling himself after it was alleged he impregnated a fan - because he's convinced it "won't be the last" time he's rocked by lovechild accusations.

The 17-year-old star was left stunned after Mariah Yeater, 20, claimed she fell pregnant after having sex with the singer backstage at a concert in Los Angeles.

Bieber has adamantly denied the rumours, but admits he's prepared for other women to fabricate similar stories.

He tells TMZ.com, "It's the first time that something like this has happened, so it's kind of really crazy. I'm sure it won't be the last (time) but it's just sad that it has to happen like this. I mean, it's just weird that people automatically assume that it was true. But I knew eventually it would die down.

"There's a lot of people that get accused of different things, especially in my business. It's something that comes with the territory. There's a lot of lies that happen and you just gotta focus on what's important. I stay away from all that stuff. I really have been so busy promoting my Christmas album, I haven't had any time to be on the computer."

And the singer insists he's fed-up of fielding questions about Yeater.

When asked if he's annoyed with the controversy, he adds, "A little bit. People saying, 'Are you going to be a father?' and all this stuff. Someday I will be, but not any time soon."

Beiber Accused of Fathering a Fan's Baby

Justin Beiber is facing a paternity lawsuit filed by a 20-year-old woman claiming the underage pop singer is the father of her 3-month old son. Whoa — Desperate psycho? Or corrupter of minors? Neither is a good look, girl! RadarOnline reports (via Star magazine), on October 25, 2010, Mariah Yeater (19 at the time) alleges she was propositioned by 16-year-old Bieber (now 17) backstage following his L.A. concert. Yeater swears in court papers, “On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber. Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby.”Of course, the potential baby-mama wants a paternity test and child support for little Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater (Bieber?).No surprise here, J-Biebz’ rep denies the story and reacted with this statement: “While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”Justin, who is dating 19-year-old Selena Gomez, also tweeted his response, “so Im going to ignore the rumors…and focus on what is real. an opportunity to help by doing what i love. Brenda Song Photo -- Pregnant or Not?!

Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus shocked everyone last month when it was reported the Disney star was expecting their first child together ... and then things got even stranger.

The two never publicly confirmed the news themselves and the only thing Trace Cyrus has been tweeting about lately is getting a new tattoo.

Then Brenda's mom reportedly said her daughter is NOT pregnant, telling the questionable Star "It's very upsetting to our family because of what I'm going through and it's not how we raised her."

The couple was spotted together at a mall in Sherman Oaks, where Brenda was wearing some very baggy clothes -- hiding her belly (and potential baby bump) under a belt and flowy top.

Ever Wondered Who this Dude is?

Mac Miller (real name Malcolm McCormick) is a 19 year old rapper from Pittsburgh who is signed to Rostrum Records and who slowly but surely is carving a niche for himself in the rap game, and amassing a passionate legion of fans as he goes.

MTV.com had caught up with Mac to find out exactly who he is.

“He’s a 19 year old rap phenomenon from Pittsburgh who enjoys life and enjoys making music every day and working very hard for everything he gets.” says Mac, oozing confidence

So, where did Malcolm get his stage name?

“My grandpa started calling me Mac when I was born. So, it stuck. It’s cool. My grandpa was a huge Mack Maine fan. It’s a family name, but it just sounded really good after Mac, so you know, [Miller] is also my brother’s first name, Q and I were talking on the phone, because when I was 15 and I went by ‘Easy Mac’ and we said the first thing we gotta do is change my name and we were like ‘Ohh Mac Miller, that sounds cool’.”

I'm Going to be Roasted!!

Sheen released a statement saying, "You could say I've been providing kindling for this Roast for a while ... It's time to light it up.& It's going to be epic."
The Roast will be taped in Los Angeles on September 10 ... and it will air on Comedy Central on September 19 -- which is, not coincidentally, the same night the revamped "Two and a Half Men" is set to premiere.

A rep for Comedy Central says, "Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast which scares even us. Sheen has previously said he's looking forward to being the butt of jokes. "It's not like you can take any of it personally," Sheen said. "I'm actually looking forward to how creative they can get."

"Mike Tyson, Jackass star Steve-O and TMZ's Harvey Levin will all roast Charlie Sheen on Comedy Central's upcoming special. Comedians Anthony Jeselnik and Jeffrey Ross are also lined up for the event, which will tape on Saturday, Sept. 10 in Los Angeles. Productions.

They Are Safe! Hurrah

The Jersey Shore cast will definitely be at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, As Hurricane Irene threatens to destroy the East Coast, an insider tells Us Weekly that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Nicole Cortese, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola boarded a private jet Saturday morning in Teterboro, New Jersey.
"MTV wanted to make sure they got in town for the VMAs", According to TMZ.com, the foursome flew out last night, avoiding the hurricane before it crippled local airports.

The rest of the cast was off doing events in other parts of the country -- for example ... Pauly D was in Oklahoma DJing, while Jwoww was hosting a party at PURE in Las Vegas.
